The story

Race-bred.
Mountain-raised.

Toby began racing snocross at nine years old and returned to the sport after college, carrying forward the snowmobile legacy of his father and grandfather.

Today, he combines professional hillclimb racing with backcountry riding, race-sled building, tuning and product testing. Away from the mountain, Toby leads Shepherd’s Garage—the fourth generation of a Montana family equipment business established in 1945.
